“ Having lived in California in largely Mexican-American communities, I have missed Mexican food. Mezquite is the best food I have found on the East Coast so far. The carnitas were tender and juicy, crispy around the edges. My wife's enchiladas were well made, flavorful, and filling. When we asked for hot sauce, the team sent out some house made, creamy orange salsa. No idea what was in it, but it had plenty of heat and flavor - definitely ask for some. ”

“ Great place! Extensive and delicious cocktail menu. Great menu, far beyond what you’d traditionally see at Mexican restaurants around here. Highly recommend the Honolulu fajitas, which have pineapple in them.Friendly staff and good service. Adorable inside. They did a great job decorating the with beautiful wooden tables, walls with beautiful tile, wood slats and faux succulents. We’ve been twice and will keep coming back! ”
